Tour Guru

Overview

Tour Guru is a mobile travel planning concept that combines AI-generated itineraries with community-sourced tips. The project was built as part of my Google UX Design Certificate capstone, following the full double-diamond process from empathy maps and journey mapping to high-fidelity prototypes and usability testing.

Key Contributions

• Conducted 8 user interviews and synthesised findings into 2 primary personas.
• Mapped end-to-end journey for the 'plan a trip' core flow, identifying 6 key pain points.
• Designed low-fidelity wireframes tested in two rounds of hallway usability tests (n=5 each).
• Produced a high-fidelity Figma prototype covering onboarding, discovery, and itinerary builder.
• Iterated on navigation based on usability feedback, reducing task completion time by 28%.
